Cincinnati, Ohio – CollegeSource, Inc. is pleased to announce that Eastern Michigan University (EMU) has recently deployed CollegeSource’s u.achieve Degree Audit & Academic Planning Suite. The suite enables real-time integration with EMU’s existing Banner student information system. Students and advisors now have access to academic planning tools that aid in both planning and tracking progress toward degree completion. “EMU chose the CollegeSource Suite because it best suited our needs.” said Christina Shell, Registrar at Eastern Michigan University. “The suite of services was of extreme interest as we plan for student services of the future.”
The u.achieve Suite includes degree audit and academic planning tools that work seamlessly to engage students in the academic planning process, while helping the University enhance the advising experience and streamline the administration processes related to graduation clearance. Students and advisors will be able to quickly and easily track progress toward degree completion and perform “what-if” audits to determine the potential impact of changing majors, on-demand and in real time. “[The] full implementation of the suite will allow prospective students to determine transfer equivalencies and equivalency applicability, as well as develop a plan of action for graduation.” Christina added. “All students will be able to take more ownership of their college degrees, and make decisions based on fact instead of speculation. Everyone, campus-wide, will be on the ‘same page’.”
“We are happy to have Eastern Michigan University join the CollegeSource family.” said Ayman Rabi, the Director of Support & Services at CollegeSource. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to work with EMU to improve the student experience and instill confidence in the audit results provided to students and advisors.”
