Major landing page and user experience upgrades in Transferology 1.9.8

Transferology 1.9.8 delivers an enhanced experience for students, staff, and institutions

Transferology 1.9.8 is coming September 1, 2026, with major upgrades designed to create a more seamless, engaging experience across both the student application and staff-facing tools. Headlining the release are new customizable landing page templates and user experience updates that give institutions greater control over their branding and how prospective students explore transfer options. With more than 85 enhancements and improvements across Transferology and the Transferology Lab, this release brings meaningful updates for students and staff.

New in the Lab

Landing page upgrade

Institutions will have the option to use their specific branding on their landing pages (both individual institutions and state/systems) while ensuring prospective students can only review transfer course matches at their school. Students visiting Transferology from the landing page will be locked in, seeing how their incoming courses apply to that school only.

The original landing page template will be available for institutions and will also allow institutions to hide other schools’ matches. Offering both versions enables institutions to best serve their prospective students and reach a high level of engagement.

New in the student application

School/system-specific branding

Institutions (and systems) that choose to restrict course matches displaying from other schools will see their specific branding within the student application of Transferology. This update enables institutions to provide a visually consistent user experience to prospective and current students.

Redesigned search results

The match results page has been redesigned to better show how a course is transferred into an institution. The Matches, Maybe, and Misses totals will display next to an institution’s name in the search results, replacing the match percentage. This change will provide clarity to prospective students at first glance.

Updated match details

The Request for Information form automatically populates within the Explore Matches page, allowing a student to contact the school for additional information directly from viewing how courses transfer.

If an institution is displaying Programs and Pathways, a select number will display under the course matches. Students can then review how their courses could apply to a specific program at the institution, and how they could apply to a transfer pathway (for example, transferring from a two-year college to a four-year university).
