We are eagerly planning for the upcoming 2020 CollegeSource Annual Conference and working hard to build an agenda filled with interesting and helpful training topics. The more than 60 concurrent sessions will include presentations by CollegeSource staff and users from our community. (Call for Proposals has officially closed, but we are still accepting submissions.) While the sessions by our team are valuable for learning how to use the products, attendees are always most excited to hear what their peers are doing with the software on their campuses.

Creating an Intuitive Self-Service Model for Student Success
Session Description: CSU-Global has been able to integrate TES, Transferology, and uAchieve to create an intuitive experience for students from enrollment through graduation. The integration of the three systems has empowered students to both identify and personalize their own path to success, and allows CSU-Global staff to more effectively coach and advise students on degree completion. We now offer a self-service model that enables students to create custom educational plans with innovative tools.

Leveraging Degree Audit Data to Support Strategic Initiatives
Session Description: Ivy Tech Community College has worked with CollegeSource to improve our Batch Degree auditing system to produce data about the student’s progress towards a credential and support Ivy Tech’s strategic goal of awarding 50,000 credential per year by 2020. While enrollment at Ivy Tech has been decreasing, Ivy Tech has increased the number of credentials awarded in part to finding incidental credentials that student earn along the way to earning their intended degree.

This session will showcase how UMKC is using Transferology and TES for recruitment and transfer and how we are using the uAchieve Degree Audit and Planner for not only student planning but also for administrative course planning.
