We have heard your requests! CollegeSource is excited to announce expanded Evaluation Tracker user rights in TES starting June 13th.
What Is New
The current Eval Tracker user right has been split into three new rights: Create Eval, Service Eval, and Manage Eval. Among other things, this change makes it possible for you to have staff on your campus create evaluation tasks in TES without granting them the rights also to evaluate courses or create equivalencies. This new distinction in rights comes with a small structural change in how evaluations are routed. When a user completes an evaluation (by either selecting Approve, Deny, or Need More Information), they will be prompted to assign the task to someone for the next steps.
Additionally, there are some updates to the names of user rights and the capabilities granted when assigned forthcoming. The Course Change Explorer is also moving to a new location within the menu.
What to Expect: Our Migration Plan
To make this transition as smooth as possible, CollegeSource will migrate all existing users to what we have deemed their closest equivalent new right(s) on June 13th.
