Reports to: User Experience Manager
Position purpose
As a member of CollegeSource, Inc. (CSI), a successful Quality Assurance Specialist will develop processes and procedures within the software development lifecycle and perform quality assurance testing for our entire suite of products.
Essential functions

- Create and review test conditions and/or scenarios
- Work closely with the other members of the development team to review the designs of systems, implement test scenarios, and test the quality of software products
- Execute black box, white box and grey box tests for web and client server applications
- Test web applications for accessibility standards compliance
- Coordinate and execute feature tests and regression tests for product releases
- Work with functional experts or clients to recreate production issues in production to our test environment
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education/experience

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Experience with CollegeSource, Inc. products (uAchieve preferred)
- Experience evaluating sites against web accessibility standards (i.e., WCAG)
- Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management preferred
