CollegeSource releases uAchieve 5.0 with revolutionary Planner and TES integration
SAN DIEGO, March 23, 2023 – CollegeSource is excited to announce the release of uAchieve 5.0, the latest version of their award-winning degree audit and academic planning software. uAchieve 5.0 features a brand-new Planner and enhanced integration with TES, the Transfer Evaluation System, for even greater flexibility and efficiency.
The most notable addition in uAchieve 5.0 is the reimagined Planner with an algorithm that automatically suggests a plan for students based on their graduation and program goals. The new version is intuitive, takes into account completed courses, and generates a plan that validates planned courses against the degree audit in real-time. With the uAchieve Planner, students can also experiment with different course combinations and see how each option will impact their degree progress. These features reduce the burden on advisors by allowing students to take control of their academic journey and ensure they stay on track for graduation.
In addition to the new Planner, uAchieve 5.0 introduces a new TES integration that allows users to process transfers in uAchieve while enjoying the information resources and evaluation workflow from TES. Within uAchieve, users can search for course descriptions and other related course information directly from TES. This information can be used to make an equivalency “on the spot” in uAchieve or initiate a request for evaluation by a faculty evaluator with the appropriate rights in and access to TES.

By the way, can someone tip me what the U.Achieve acronym standds for?
Hi Luul, in 2010 our products were renamed and rebranded. The degree audit was changed from DARwin to u.achieve (as in “you achieve” a degree), the academic planner was changed to u.direct (as in “you direct” your plan), and our transfer solution [now Transferology] was called u.select (as in “you select” your courses). As our products have evolved over the last 13 years, so have their names. u.achieve is now uAchieve and encompasses three products: the Degree Audit, Planner, and Schedule Builder. Hope that helps!
