TES data includes more than college and university courses. Using the Course Finder, users can also access Advanced Placement (AP) courses, College Level Examination Program (CLEP) tests, and military learning experiences.
To access these potential sources of college credit, you must search for and select the correct institution in Course Finder. Searching for:
- “CollegeBoard” will return all CLEP and AP tests
- “American Council on Education” will return military learning experiences
Some of the included data is not especially detailed. The purpose, initially, is to provide the means by which users can build equivalencies to these sources of credit. We have plans to make the data more rich and extensive (including other sources of credit) in the near future, but we couldn’t wait to share the news!
