Fall into uAchieve 4.6: Updates arriving September 2025

uAchieve 4.6 provides third-party library updates and improvements to Transcript Importer

uAchieve 4.6 will be released September 16, 2025. It will be the final release in the 4.x series, bringing all code libraries and security methods up to date. 4.6 is available to both cloud and on-premises clients. In addition to over 20 updates to third-party libraries and Transcript Importer, this release will also provide support for Java 17.

The release of uAchieve 4.6 is intended for current users of uAchieve 4.5 and includes benefits such as long-term support for uAchieve 4.5 functionality and reduced security vulnerabilities.

Highlights

Third-party library updates

All third-party libraries that uAchieve is dependent on (such as Hibernate, Spring, etc.) have been updated to a version compatible with Java 17. This improves CollegeSource’s ability to support uAchieve 4.6 for several years into the future.

uAchieve 4.5.4.7 patches

Issues for which patches were provided in uAchieve 4.5.4.7 have been addressed in the 4.6 release, ensuring a comprehensive upgrade. This includes the following improvements:

• • Transcript Importer no longer errors when attempting to load empty values for attributes on courses uploaded from an XML file.
  • Additional support for the CollegeTranscriptMutator interface. The mutator can now be implemented to modify the XML transcript before it is processed and uploaded to the student record by uAchieve.
  • The appearance of the Reference Values (REFVALS) in the text audit output is now consistent across all audit types.

Other features of the 4.6 release include:
