Announcing new additions to the Client Advisory Board
We are thrilled to announce the newest members joining our Client Advisory Board (CAB). The CAB is an essential partnership, providing invaluable feedback and real-world perspective that directly shapes the future of CollegeSource products and services. Our new members bring a wealth of experience, diverse insights, and a shared passion for student success. We are excited to introduce you to the leaders who will lend their voices and expertise to our community.
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Amy, Camden, Cassandra, Rebecca, and Victor! Learn about them below.
Amy Carlson
Senior Associate Registrar, University of Missouri-Kansas City
With 20 years in Higher Ed, including 14 years in the Registrar’s Office at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Amy brings a remarkable depth of experience to the CAB. Her institution has been a CollegeSource partner for nearly 50 years(!), giving her a unique historical perspective combined with a forward-looking vision. “I am excited to be a part of the conversation… as we take the next steps in improving student success with CollegeSource by our side,” Amy shares.
As a long-time user of our products, from TES and DARS to uAchieve Audits, Planner, and Transferology, Amy is eager to contribute to discussions that will benefit all clients. In 2019, her impactful work was recognized with the inaugural UMKC Excellence in Planning, Operations, and Stewardship Award for her leadership in degree audit implementation.
Outside of her professional life, Amy is passionate about her family and will proudly show you ALL the pictures.
Camden Farmer
Senior Associate Registrar, Director of Transfer Partnerships, Metropolitan State University of Denver
Bringing 18 years of Higher Ed experience from two very transfer-heavy institutions, Camden is an expert in transfer policy and practice. He is excited to join the CAB at a time of increased interest in transfer student services and to share his knowledge on how policy impacts everything from degree audit systems to sustainable transfer processes. Camden’s key advice is for institutions to “understand the impacts and importance of state policy and how your institution stays compliant.”
Camden is deservedly proud of a major overhaul of MSU Denver’s transfer evaluation workflows, which reduced the average turnaround time to just one week. This success, which he has presented on at AACRAO and written about for Inside Higher Ed, has helped countless students and positioned him as a leader in the field.
Outside of work, Camden enjoys bike riding, disc golf, breweries, cooking, and spending time with his supportive wife and daughter.
Cassandra Levesque
Student Success and Planning Technology Support Analyst, Minnesota State System Office
Cassandra provides a vital system-wide perspective, leveraging 14 years of experience in Higher Ed and her current role supporting 33 colleges and universities. “Working at the system office… allows me to bring a system-wide perspective to the CAB,” she says. “This enables me to address broader challenges and opportunities that impact schools.” Having seen firsthand how even small product improvements can have a big impact, she is excited to collaborate with others to make things better for students and staff.
Cassandra is most proud of the strong, reliable relationships she has built with staff across the Minnesota State system, becoming a trusted resource for all things uAchieve, TES, and Transferology.
When not busy with her one-year-old, Cassandra loves to unwind by reading, watching movies, and dining out. She and her husband look forward to new travel adventures with their son, and she has recently taken up bird watching—a hobby her cats enjoy, too!
Rebecca Siggelkoe Moreno
Assistant Director, Advising & LifeMap/Transfer Services, Bunker Hill Community College
Rebecca brings 15 years of experience in Higher Ed and a vital perspective to the CAB: that of the community college student. As a community college graduate herself, she has a deep personal connection to improving the transfer experience. “I aim to bring the community college student experience to our discussions,” she states, driven by a passion for helping these students succeed and improving their transfer experience.
Rebecca is most excited about exchanging ideas with transfer professionals nationwide. Her commitment to this work is evident in her proudest achievement: developing and implementing new transfer policies at BHCC to maximize students’ prior coursework and promote degree completion.
Beyond her work, Rebecca is passionate about belly dancing, salsa dancing, her favorite goth and darkwave bands, and shoestring travel adventures.
Victor Silva
Transfer Admission Counselor, The University of Rhode Island
With 15 years of experience in higher education, Victor is dedicated to enhancing the tools that support student mobility. He joins the CAB eager to “connect with other institutions on best practices and to help enhance CollegeSource products from a client perspective.” Victor brings a refreshingly direct and innovative mindset, hoping to inspire discussions that constantly challenge the status quo by asking, “Can’t it be done, or are we choosing not to do it?”
His recent achievements speak volumes about this approach. Since implementing the Evaluation Tracker at URI, his team has entered nearly 11,000 new equivalencies—a massive jump from the 2,000 entered in the entire prior year.
Outside the office, Victor’s passions are his family and celebrating the great state of Rhode Island.
