Each year, CollegeSource hosts the Transfer Week Webinar Series and the CollegeSource Annual Conference – two events designed to bring Higher Ed professionals together to build connections, gather knowledge, and share expertise with peers. We are excited to begin offering a third opportunity for collaboration and inspiration focused specifically on transfer!

Introducing, Let’s Talk Transfer

A community series for “talking shop”

CollegeSource invites all higher education professionals to join us for Let’s Talk Transfer, a repeating community event designed for posing transfer questions and sharing processes. The online discussion is open to all college and university staff (and faculty!) who support, or are interested in learning more about transfer. Individuals do not have to belong to an institution that uses a CollegeSource product to participate. Let’s Talk Transfer is intended to be interactive, community-focused, and community-driven, providing transfer professionals with a frequent venue for peer discussion and resource-gathering.

What to expect

Conversations will occur over Zoom on the third Tuesday of every other month at 1 p.m. ET, beginning March 19, 2024. Having your camera on is optional but encouraged so that we may get to know one another better. Interested parties can sign up below to participate in any and all sessions that fit their schedule.

Let’s Talk Transfer: Community Discussion Series
Mar 19 • May 21 • Jul 16 • Sep 17 • Nov 19 • More coming in 2025!

Signing up once provides access to all series occurrences.

Each session will be hosted by Sarah Hatfield and Tim Horzmann of CollegeSource, who together have approximately 22 years of experience in higher education before coming to CollegeSource.

General topics will be chosen in advance but are subject to change, based on demand and scheduling. Topics will be posted on the event registration page prior to each meeting. Attendees are encouraged to participate in sharing processes and practices, ask questions, form takeaways, and get to know other transfer professionals during the meeting.

Help make Let’s Talk Transfer a success

CollegeSource will pilot the Let’s Talk Transfer series through the end of November 2024, with hopes to continue offering the series again next year. We look forward to continuing the conversation around transfer student support and success.
