The Transferology 1.6.2 scheduled for release on February 28, 2017, consists of over 70 enhancements and improvements affecting both Transferology and the Transferology Lab. The major new feature of this release allows schools to define Requirement Categories for their alternate courses (acourses), iflags, and TES user-added courses. Students then use Find a Replacement Course to search by Requirement Categories to find the related courses.
In practical terms, this would make it possible for a student to find a course at another institution that he or she could take to transfer as a Social Behavioral Science, for instance, rather than for a specific social & behavioral science course such as PSYC 100. Matching to a requirement rather than a specific course gives the student more useful information and more choices in many transfer situations.
Additional highlights include the following:
- TES workflow enhancements
- Product re-branding
- Ability to display all informational messages on the match details
A free webinar will be offered to provide an overview of the new updates in this release:
