CollegeSource announces the winners of the 2025 Best Practices Awards.
[San Diego, July 10, 2025] – CollegeSource, a premier provider of degree clearance and transfer software solutions for higher education, is excited to announce the winners of the 2025 CollegeSource Best Practices Awards. Also known as the ‘Sourcies,’ these awards honor institutions and professionals who have shown outstanding use of CollegeSource products to improve transfer processes and support degree completion.
President Troy Holaday and CEO Kerry Cooper presented the 2025 Sourcie recipients which include, from top left, clockwise: Virginia Tech (represented by Chris Akers), San Diego State University (represented by Deborah Southard), University of Missouri – Kansas City (represented by Amy Carlson and Megan Malcom), and California State University, Fullerton (represented by Joe Luzzi, Seth Bin, Hokseng Hun, Kristin Cook, Ma Lyzette Hingco, Abril Vega, and Conni Chen).
Following a thorough evaluation, CollegeSource proudly presented the 2025 Sourcie Awards to the following institutions during the CollegeSource Annual Conference, held in San Diego, California, from June 16–19, 2025:
University of Missouri – Kansas City
Legacy Partner Award
University of Missouri – Kansas City was honored with the Legacy Partner award for their 40-year history of using Degree Audit, having been CollegeSource’s first licensed client in 1985.
California State University, Fullerton
Exceptional Implementation Effort
California State University, Fullerton, received the Exceptional Implementation Effort award for being the first institution to successfully go into production with the new uAchieve Planner.
San Diego State University
Exceptional Implementation Effort
San Diego State University earned an Exceptional Implementation Effort award for their outstanding work in implementing Transferology with uAchieve Transfer Articulation.
Virginia Tech
Pioneering Partner Award
Virginia Tech won the Pioneering Partner award for their crucial role in building and testing the Banner version of the Transfer Rule Extractor (TREX) software.
