Announcing uAchieve 5.1

uAchieve 5.1 will be available March 19, 2024, in the Cloud and on-prem

uAchieve 5.0 introduced a reimagined and redesigned Planner and an integration between uAchieve and TES, the Transfer Evaluation System, for quicker course evaluation. CollegeSource is excited to now announce the upcoming release of uAchieve 5.1, which will be available to uAchieve Cloud customers as well as institutions running uAchieve on-premises. This release will contain over 350 enhancements and improvements to the degree audit, academic planning, and student schedule solution.

Highlights of this release include:

uAchieve Degree Audit

• • The COM fields GINSTCD, RPTINSTCD, and STRINSTCD can now point to a blank INSTCD via the use of a BLANKC character.
  • Configurations to customize the messaging on the Program Matcher page, including the terminology used to refer to the number of completed and minimum hours. Institutions also have the option to specify the type of hours (total, completed, earned, in-progress, planned) earned.

uAchieve Client

• • Sub-requirement completion status can now be suppressed via two new settings within the No Sequence Number field in the Reporting tab.

uAchieve Transfer Articulation

• • Synchronization of transfer articulation data in the uAchieve Client and Self-Service.
  • TES Mode:
    • Additional configurations and data fields.
    • The ability, when generating an evaluation task, to send an email alert notifying the assigned evaluator.

uAchieve Planner

• • The ability to create batch plans in Self-Service for student populations.
  • Functionality to map prerequisite or corequisite field text within TES course catalog data to uAchieve requirements and sub-requirements for use in requisite processing when building plans. Institutions can use this functionality to ensure that non-course requisites, such as general education requirements, are factored into course placement on plans.

uAchieve Self-Service

• • An alert message when new notifications are received.

uAchieve Schedule Builder

• • Improved search capabilities, including filtering out courses identified as not being offered in the term selected.

Transferology-subscribing institutions will need to install an updated version of the Transferology Connector when upgrading to or installing uAchieve 5.1 on-premise.
