The annual conference is almost here!
We hope you are as excited as we are to spend a week connecting, learning, and soaking in the sunshine at the Bahia Resort Hotel for the 2024 CollegeSource Annual Conference! The conference begins on Monday, June 17, and will run through Thursday, June 20. While CollegeSource is still open, please remember that over half of our staff will be in San Diego hosting the conference, so response times may be delayed.
What to expect
The Bahia is situated on Mission Bay and just a short walk from the Pacific Ocean at Mission Beach, so attendees will have the unique opportunity to take in beautiful water views while becoming more adept with the tools that will help them succeed at their institution.
Below are just a few of the activities and networking opportunities you’ll experience onsite in addition to the 60+ sessions.
Welcome Mixer
Kick off the conference on Monday night and say hello to friends, new and old! We invite you to show off your school spirit by wearing school gear and bringing institution swag to share with peers at the Swag Swap table. Bites and drinks will be provided, including this year’s craft batch of beers brewed by the CollegeSource Brew Crew and a signature mocktail.
All first-time attendees will also be given a special opportunity this evening to mingle and learn the ropes of the conference at an exclusive reception prior to the Welcome Mixer.
Networking Lunch
Lunch tables will be arranged by topic of interest on Wednesday. You can choose to chat with our staff or have a group discussion with some of your colleagues and friends.
Wizard Bar
Make an appointment with our expert “wizards” to address any questions during this help desk activity taking place at Wednesday’s Networking Lunch.
‘Where the Action Is’ Beach Bash
It’s the Summer of ’24, and we’re taking a trip down memory lane to get far out and fab. New this year for our Wednesday evening reception with dinner is a retro beach party, where everyone is encouraged to don their grooviest 60s and 70s outfits. We are so excited that you are joining us to be “Where the Action Is!” In addition to a delicious meal, there will be live entertainment, dancing, and a fun photo booth to capture memories.
Yoga & Running with the CAB
We’re bringing Yoga Instructor Bianca back for more stretching and meditation to reinvigorate you from the inside out. Attend the evening yoga session on Mission Bay’s beach or the morning yoga session next to the tranquil pond and garden—or join us at both! Beginners welcome. Also, break a sweat with a few members of the Client Advisory Board, who will host an early morning run on Tuesday for all interested.
Blood Drive
We’ve partnered with the San Diego Blood Bank again and are hosting a blood drive on Monday, June 17, from 9:00am-2:30pm, in the parking lot. It is open to all, and walk-ins are welcome, but attendees can also make appointments using the link sent out in the conference emails or in the conference mobile app.
Mobile app now available
Want to view event programming information on the go? We’ve got you covered! The conference mobile app is available now for attendees and provides access to the session schedule, speakers, attendee list, venue details, and more! The app invite has already gone out to conference attendees. However, you can also access the app by downloading the Attendee Mobile app in your phone’s app store and searching for CollegeSource.
