We are seeking nominations for the 8th annual Best Practices Awards!

Are you leveraging CollegeSource solutions in a groundbreaking way? Have you developed an innovative process that has enhanced efficiency, improved student experiences, or streamlined workflows at your institution using TES, Transferology, uAchieve, or the Higher Ed Policy Central? If so, the CollegeSource Best Practice Awards, also known as the Sourcies, offer the perfect opportunity to gain well-deserved recognition while sharing your success with peers. These awards, presented at the CollegeSource Annual Conference each June, highlight excellence in academic planning, degree audit technology, and transfer credit evaluation through the use of CollegeSource products.

Kansas State University
Exceptional Implementation Effort
In just one year, Kansas State University upgraded its instance of uAchieve to the latest version and implemented TES and Transferology to replace existing homegrown applications, ultimately reducing the workload for staff and eliminating the necessity to maintain and build homegrown applications. Due to demonstrated excellence with the simultaneous implementation of multiple products, CollegeSource awarded Kansas State University the Exceptional Implementation Effort Best Practices Award.

Dena Lawrence, Ed.M., Illinois MyCreditsTransfer
Transfer Champion Lifetime Achievement
In addition to her work as the Coordinator for Illinois MyCreditsTransfer, Dena had over 20 years of higher education experience in three states and provided training for 2- and 4-year advisors and high school college admission counselors. Dena also provided unwavering support for Transferology by actively sharing her extensive knowledge and experience with the product. Due to her dedication to student success, innovative use of technology, and commitment to continuous improvement which profoundly impacted the transfer community, CollegeSource awarded Dena with a Transfer Champion Lifetime Achievement Best Practices Award.

Kim Diawara, University of Colorado Boulder
Outstanding Community Participation
Kim Diawara has been in her current position at the University of Colorado Boulder Office of Admissions for 25 years and oversees the initial transfer credit process and systems integrations while utilizing TES, Transferology, uAchieve Degree Audit, and uAchieve Planner from CollegeSource. She also served as a member and president of the CollegeSource Client Advisory Board (CAB). For more than a decade, Kim went above and beyond in supporting the CollegeSource user community and, therefore, was awarded the Outstanding Community Participation Best Practices Award.

2025 Best Practices Awards

Help us celebrate the next round of recipients at this year’s CollegeSource Annual Conference, which will take place June 16-19 at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina in San Diego, California. Individuals may nominate themselves or any other individual or institution who has demonstrated innovation, excellence, and dedication to advancing student success using TES, Transferology, uAchieve, or the Higher Ed Policy Central.

Who is eligible?

Any college, university, or organization using one or more CollegeSource products.
