“These winners epitomize the spirit of innovation and best practices within our CollegeSource user community,” said Kerry Cooper, CEO of Collegesource. “Their exceptional achievements and unwavering dedication to excellence inspire others, and we take great pride in acknowledging their remarkable contributions through the 2023 Sourcie Awards.”

One notable achievement among the winners is the commendable work undertaken by California Baptist University (CBU). Under the leadership of Jessica Reyes and the Transcript & Records Analyst team, CBU successfully recreated their general education and pre-nursing transfer guides using group reports in TES, a CollegeSource product. This transition from static PDFs on the student portal to the dynamic features of TES allowed CBU to maintain these guides and all institution equivalences simultaneously. The implementation of group report guides has positively impacted various stakeholders at California Baptist University, including Admissions counselors, transcript evaluators, and prospective and current students. Moreover, integrating transfer guides with Transferology, another CollegeSource product, has seamlessly provided students access to comprehensive transfer information and resources across multiple platforms. This integration has significantly enhanced the ease and efficiency of California Baptist University’s transfer practices.

California State University, Fresno, Harding University, Ozarks Technical Community College, and Portland State University have demonstrated exceptional dedication and engagement as Outstanding Development Partners. The invaluable feedback and collaboration provided by these esteemed institutions during the development phase of the uAchieve Planner have been instrumental in overcoming obstacles and ensuring the creation of a robust academic planning solution. These partners actively contributed updates and insights on open development questions. The diverse perspectives stemming from varying locations, institution sizes, policies, organizational structures, degree program offerings, and student systems have collectively shaped a flexible solution that addresses the broad range of requirements within the CollegeSource user community. The sharing of encoding data by these partners has played a pivotal role in making significant progress in generating plans.
