The Transferology trail: The perfect mix for success
Get ready to set out on an adventure through Transferology at the 2026 Annual Conference! New features, best practices, and tips for training new users will be highlighted throughout the sessions.
A new trail
Join Park Ranger Melissa Brooks on Wednesday, June 24, from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. at “Claim Your Campsite: What’s Next for Transferology Landing Pages.” This session will provide the path to a summit where institution landing pages are maximized. Park Ranger Melissa will demonstrate new features and customizations that will unlock further success for Transferology schools and universities.
At “You Are Here: Your Map to Transferology Updates, Insights, and What’s Ahead” on Tuesday, June 23, from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m., Park Rangers Don Dudley and Melissa will introduce the team behind Transferology and share security and accessibility updates. They’ll also review highlights from the 1.9.7 release and give a sneak peek at what’s next.
Back to basics
Join Park Ranger Aleta Carlberg at the Transferology Administrator Certification pre-conference session on Monday, June 22, from 1 to 3 p.m., where attendees will learn how to use and leverage the tools within the Transferology Lab. This extended session will cover key components and advanced features, as well as strategies for implementation and training others. The track will continue with various required sessions during the week, culminating in certification by the end of the conference. (There’s still time to add pre-conference training to your conference experience. If you have already registered, simply log in to modify your registration to include any add-ons!)
New and returning campers can start their hike through Transferology at “Transferology 101: Welcome to Camp” on Tuesday, June 23, from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. Park Ranger Scott Johns will map out the path ahead, starting with the student’s experience in Transferology, and progressing to the Transferology Lab. This introduction to camp will lay a strong foundation for the future.
Park Rangers Debbie Brunner and Scott will help Transferology Lab users navigate their path at “Back to Base Camp: A Transferology Lab Refresher for School Administrators” on Wednesday, June 24, from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. This session will review core tools, recent updates, and tips on helping students achieve transfer success through Transferology.
Maintain your camp
Join Park Ranger Scott as he provides a step-by-step guide through designing a branded Transferology landing page at “Claiming Your Campsite: Building a Co-Branded Transferology Landing Page” on Tuesday, June 23, from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. This session will highlight how to make a landing page that not only promotes your college or university but also creates an engaging experience that helps students find their path forward.
A hike isn’t complete without trail mix – Transferology’s includes glossary messages, program setup, and requirement categories. Park Rangers Laura Butchko and Debbie will review how to strengthen these at “Maintaining Your Campsite in Transferology” on Thursday, June 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. This session will highlight the importance of these features and how they can impact a student’s path in Transferology.
The inclusive summit
A successful hike is accessible and inclusive, and so is Transferology. Join Park Rangers Daniel Natividad-Alvarez and Melissa at “Accessibility Trail Mix: S’more Than Just Compliance” on Tuesday, June 23, from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. This session will highlight what we provide, what our users control, and how small choices can create an inclusive experience for all hikers.
Learn how students navigate the trail through Transferology with Park Ranger Don at “Transferology Trailblazer’s Checklist” on Thursday, June 25, from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. This session will provide a behind-the-scenes look at how students use Transferology, the trends and searches, and how we are keeping the students, site, and data safe.
