Where ideas spark: The TES campfire experience

Grab a chair and join us around the TES campfire at the 2026 CollegeSource Annual Conference taking place June 22–25 at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay in San Diego, California! The TES team will be sharing important product updates, resources for staff training, and insider stories. In addition, attendees can meet the makers of TES, share feedback, and propose new ideas to continually improve the product.

Meet the makers

Join the TES team’s very own Park Rangers, Sarah Hatfield and Tim Horzmann, as they review TES updates and highlight important account and security enhancements from the last year at “What’s New in TES” on Tuesday, June 23, from 9:30–10:15 a.m.

Other members of the TES team, including development staff, will also be available throughout the conference to talk with attendees.

Hello, TES 5.0

Attendees will get a first look at the upcoming release at “Hiking through TES 5.0” on Tuesday, June 23, from 3:45–4:30 p.m. Park Rangers Sarah and Tim will lead the way as they navigate the trail through the improvements coming to TES and the rollout timeline.

New camper training

On Monday, June 22, from 8:30–11:00 a.m., Park Ranger Sarah will present “Getting Started with the TES Evaluation Tracker Workflow.” This in-depth pre-conference session dives into the Evaluation Tracker workflow, covering its key components, user rights and configurations, and how to initiate evaluation tasks for courses, standardized exams, military credit, and prior learning assessments.

The annual conference provides a great opportunity for both new and advanced users to catch up on staff training. Park Ranger John Panzica will introduce new attendees to TES functionality in “Prepare for Camp! Basic TES Overview” on Tuesday, June 23, from 8:30–9:15 a.m.

Join Park Rangers Halena Do and Max Holaday as they explore the trail that course equivalencies take when imported into TES and the Transferology Lab via a flat file. “The Equivalencies’ Trail into TES” will be on Wednesday, June 24, from 2:30–3:15 p.m.

Returning camper training

Ready to be a Junior Park Ranger? Join Park Ranger John on Monday, June 22, at the TES Administrator Certification pre-conference session. In this two-part certification class, attendees will review implementation strategies, the Evaluation Tracker workflow, configuration settings, and much more. The certification track will continue with various required sessions, culminating in certification by the week’s end.

Park Ranger John will review the tools available in TES to help keep course decisions up to date and relevant, including migrating User Added Courses, Course Tags and Outlines, as well as user maintenance. “Inflate the Tires, Top off the Tank, and Strap Down Your Supplies. Oh, and Don’t Forget the Tent!” will take place Thursday, June 25, from 8:30–9:15 a.m.

After a few days of camping, it’s time to hit the spa! “TES API Spa: From SOAP to REST” will be presented by Park Ranger Tim on Thursday, June 25, from 9:30–10:15 a.m. This session will include an introduction to the new REST API and a discussion of what’s possible with the TES APIs.

Insider stories

Join Park Rangers Sarah, Tim, and Troy Holaday in the observation tower as they discuss TES enhancements that have been driven by client feedback, resulting in new species of features and functionality. “From Chirps to Change: How User Voices are Echoed in TES Enhancements” will be on Wednesday, June 24, from 8:30–9:15 a.m.
